Fr. Dan Farley served 13 years as a priest in the Diocese of La Crosse, Wisconsin. His last assignment was pastor of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Almond. Fr. Dan was also a member of the U.S. Army Chaplaincy program. He obtained the rank of Major and served tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Fr. Dan became a regular contributor on The Inner LifeTM on Relevant Radio®. Over more than five years, he appeared on the air an estimated 70 to 80 times sharing his faith and love for the Church. Fr. Dan experienced the first symptoms of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) in a war zone in Afghanistan. As a Catholic priest and a chaplain in the Army, Fr. Dan went wherever he needed to go to bring the message of Jesus Christ to those most in need. Whether it was his parishioners in the Diocese of La Crosse, youth gangs in the neighborhoods of East Lost Angeles or soldiers in combat zones around the world, Fr.
